GLITCHY Interface

Since a project I was working on was put on hold, I suddenly had some free time on my hand that I wanted to put to good use.
Initially, playing around with Mograph, I just wanted to create some abstract objects and animate them to be used in some looping gifs. But then I decided to add some 2D elements, glitch effects and sound in After Effects and turned all objects into a single short animation.
---
The 3D elements were created in Cinema 4D R18. 2D static and animated elements, glitch effects and sounds were added in After Effects CC 2017. No plug-ins were used.
Here is a little breakdown showing all the different elements adding up:

I have created the soundtrack almost entirely from samples downloaded from freesound.org.
Almost all sound effects are public domain except schumannx0000a.mp3 (https://www.freesound.org/people/qrtrpln/sounds/89159/) by freesound.org user qrtrpln which is used under sampling+ 1.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling+/1.0/).
---
Below you can download a Cinema 4D file and play around with the setup yourself.
